About Browwwser
Browwwser is a Chromium-based browser for macOS with distraction blocking built directly into the browser engine.
Why Browwwser exists
I tried every website blocker on the market. Extensions, apps, DNS-based tools. I bypassed all of them within days — sometimes within minutes. The problem was always the same: the blocking happened outside the browser, so the browser could always find a way around it.
Browwwser takes a different approach. The blocking runs inside the browser engine itself. There's no extension to disable, no background process to kill, no workaround when your willpower runs out. Blocked sites simply don't load.
Browwwser in five facts
- A desktop browser for macOS 12 or later, built on Chromium.
- Website and app blocking are built into the browser, so there is no extension to disable.
- Lock mode protects the blocklist behind a recovery password you choose.
- $99 per year or $199 once, with a 7-day free trial and a 14-day money-back guarantee.
- macOS only, paid after the trial, and website blocking applies inside Browwwser: other browsers have to be blocked as apps.

Who's behind it
Browwwser is built by Antoine Remusat, a developer who got tired of losing hours to distractions and decided to build the tool that actually worked.
Antoine started Browwwser in February 2026 and maintains its Chromium fork himself.
How the articles are written
Every article is drafted with AI assistance, then edited and checked before publication. Tools and prices are checked against each vendor's own pages, and the check is dated. When we mention Browwwser, we also mention its limits (macOS only, paid after the 7-day trial). We do not publish sponsored content.
